After the success of last year’s English Language Seminar (ELS), Kigumba Intensive Secondary School wishes to inform the general public that this year’s ELS is scheduled for Saturday 30th June 2018 starting from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The event is organized in conjunction with experts in English Language teaching from other secondary schools within and outside Kiryandongo District. These English Language Seminars are aimed at exposing learners to examination tips and language skills. Senior four candidates from various institutions are highly encouraged to attend together with one teacher of English language to participate in the event. The seminar will be embraced by two Guest facilitators; one for English paper two and another (Assistant Chief English Paper one) for English paper one and some of the teachers in the district. These will give keynote presentations in their various areas and answer questions and queries from both the students and teachers alike. Each student is required to pay a registration fee of Shs.10,000/= which will entitle him/her to a hand-out on functional writing and comprehension skill, and the seminar. Participating schools are requested to make lunch arrangements for the students.
